Ah, the wonder of family gatherings.

Joyful, fun, exciting.

Busy, hectic, anxiety-provoking.

These gatherings come with expectations, unwritten rules, and standards that must be kept.

For many in the USA, Memorial weekend was one of those.

One thing that happens in and around holidays, holy days, graduations, celebrations, and gatherings of any kind is …

Judgement.

Ouch.

Even the word brings prickly bristles of pain.

We’ve all given it and received it, haven’t we?

Is it possible to let go of judging?

When I judge you, I’m speaking more to my character
than I am yours.

What lens do I dare to judge you through?

Who am I to decide?

? Seriously ?

Make a change, a choice, a decision…

To BE Kinder, more Gracious, more Respectful of YOURSELF and others.

When we become a better version of ourselves, the world improves. For us and those closest to us.

We have the power to check ourselves before casting that judgement.

Take a closer look at your core values and consider…

Am I adding value here?

What’s my focus?

What if I switch lenses here and view life with the thought of:

How can I make the world a better place?

How can I be of service to you?

What is one step you can take to make life better for someone you know today?

How can you make life better, easier for yourself?
